Bluetooth Vibrating Disc with alarm app voor iPhone

To wake up in the morning I use a special alarm clock for deaf people. This has an adjustable buzzer where you can adjust the frequency and volume with rotary knobs. This alarm clock also has outputs so that you can control a flash module and/or a vibrating cushion with a 2.5 mm jack plug.

The vibrating cushion has its own power supply (3x AA battery) and a 2 meter long thin but strong connection cable with 2.5 mm jack plug. The vibration box is 85x85x30 mm and made of black plactic. I place the vibrating cushion under my pillow and under the fitted sheet so that it does not slide away. This works fine. Nowadays the alarm clocks are more modern.

So it would be super useful to have a wireless Bluetooth vibrating cushion that can be activated via an alarm app on the iPhone:

Company Laptop

We currently have a problem with housing at the business. Turnover has more than doubled in the last year and many people have joined. I have already had to give up my office to two young Sales Engineers and a small reorganization of office space is now taking place. I will be working from home one day more and will have a kind of flex desk at the office, a new laptop (HP Elitebook 650 G9 notebook 15.6" fhd, i7-1255u) with an HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock to 2 new 25" monitors.

At home I have the laptop on a charger and with HDMI to a 40" Samsung LED TV.

I also connected my Macbook Pro to this, so to save some desk space I bought the following laptop/monitor table arm on marktplaats and picked it up in Utrecht Overvecht (€30).

The concept of the Utrecht visdeurbel.nl  at the Weerdsluis is as simple as it is effective: if you see a fish appear in front of the underwater camera on the livestream via visdeurbel.nl, you can press the bell digitally. If you do this, the lock keeper will receive a notification and he or she can open the gate, allowing the fish to continue their underwater journey.

About the fish doorbell:

Fish are an important part of the water in Utrecht: rivers, canals and canals. They eat water insects and help maintain good water quality. Pannekoekplant

De Pilea Peperomioides, beter bekend als de Pannenkoekplant, is een makkelijke kamerplant. De plant staat het liefst op een plek met veel indirect zonlicht. De plant krijgt verder het liefst regelmatig kleine scheutjes water, zodat de grond lichtvochtig blijft. Naast het eenvoudige onderhoud van de plant, staat de Pannenkoekenplant ook bekend om het gemak waarmee het te stekken is, er groeien vanzelf kleine kindjes rondom de moederplant.

Vorig jaar (27-3-22) op een koningsdagmarkt in Veenendaal voor €1 een klein plantje gekocht.

De Pannenkoekenplant heeft een comeback gemaakt, want ook in de jaren ’70 was de plant populair. Deze retro kamerplant heeft platte, ronde bladeren en doet daardoor denken aan pannenkoekjes of aan muntjes. Van origine komt deze Pilea uit China, vandaar dat hij in het Engels de bijnaam Chinese Money Plant heeft. Momenteel komt het Pannenkoekenplantje steeds vaker voorbij, maar voorheen waren ze lastiger te verkrijgen. Het kweken werd namelijk alleen gedaan in Scandinavië.
Je ziet het niet vaak, maar een Pannenkoekplant kan kleine witte bloemetjes krijgen. Dan groeit er een stengel zoals gewoonlijk, maar dan met kleine trosjes witte bloemen.
