Speaker Cable

Twisted 2.5 mm2 OFC cable
and gold plated banana plugs.
Tellurium Q
A colleague recommended me good speaker cable with excellent price and quality. Among other sells Hans Audio in Zwaag for € 25 per meter Tellurium Q Blue cable (optionally assembled with gold spades or 4 mm banana plugs for € 40).
Tellurium Blue is the entry level of cable manufacturer Tellurium. The Tellurium Q Blue is described as a beautiful flat speaker cable with a very high details and has a good price / performance ratio. This speaker cable brings extra peace of mind and control within playback.

Tellurium Q is all about the audio quality, they do not color the sound, and even seem a bit boring at first use and needs some habituation (also great sound you have to get used). The most eye-catching feature is the placing of instruments and vocalists. The balance is excellent, no frequency is given preferential treatment, this benefits the tranquility in the sound.

This weekend I may try three types of cables:
1- IXOS 6003 triple pair OFC (very little difference with my 2,5 mm² OFC)
2- Van den Hul CS122 (lovely cable, something more dynamic, beautiful bass)
3- AudioQuest bi-wire cable (bi-wired connected, no major differences)

Conclusion: For now, I keep on my own twisted 2.5 mm ² OFC cables from € 1,50 per meter, the differences have been minimal for me to replace these cables.
