Five months Bowie locked himself at home to work on the new album and then in November this year putting the finishing touches. ★ begins with the 10-minute title track ★, a surreal song that originally took more than 11 minutes. In the beautiful song Lazarus he directs his own transition. In addition, the ballad "Dollar Days" is also on. Finally, the album ends with the song "I Can not Give Away Everything" in which Ben Monder having played on guitar.
