Double Top for Improved Resonance and Response

Improved projection and response. A unique construction, designed to produce consistent and well-balanced instruments. The Hartwood Libretto's double top is constructed of two layers of solid spruce with nomex in between. Nomex's honeycomb-like appearance not only offers a reliable construction, but also amps up the spruce top, to be exceptionally resonant and responsive.

A big tone that remains balanced and classic. The Hartwood Libretto has a shape that fans of dreadnought guitars will find familiar. But, with a lower bout that is slightly wider you can enjoy a huge sound great for rock and country. A great compliment to the double top construction.
Quality Mahogany and Solid Spruce Construction

The Hartwood Libretto range offers quality construction matched with carefully selected high grade materials. The solid spruce has been chosen to provide sound that emphasises the natural mid-range of an acoustic guitar. A sound that cuts through without sounding too sharp and transferring enough low end to sound full and powerful. The choice of double solid spruce is also paired with mahogany back and sides to give you an instrument which is built to last and sounds great.
Mahogany Neck and Kabukalli Fingerboard

Constructed from Mahogany, the Libretto's neck offers a quick and dynamic response. Known for its reliability, this wood has been used on high grade guitar necks for years, making it a worthy addition to the Hartwood Libretto. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a Kabukalli fingerboard, adding a mellow, warm tone to the guitar's overall sound. The use of this sustainable wood provides a smooth and stable surface great for all playing styles.

Vintage Style with Pro Specifications
Ideal for seasoned players and beginners alike, this unique and great sounding instrument has looks to match. Complimenting the open, traditional sound created by the solid spruce top, the subtle binding and Sapele and Walnut Inlay rosette make for a classic yet distinctive instrument. The eye-catching Hartwood headstock is combined with a vintage shaped scratchplate. The Grover machine heads also offer excellent tuning stability for an instrument suited to gigs and recording sessions.
